Hobbs police arrest 2 men in connection to shooting and robbery

HOBBS, N.M. (KRQE) – The Hobbs Police Department arrested a man and his accomplice for a shooting and robbery that occurred last week. Police said 28-year-old Jesus Rodriguez-Lopez shot and injured a woman near East Skelly St. and South Thorp St.
Three New Mexicans facing federal charges in 2024 kidnapping
The investigation later uncovered that Rodriguez-Lopez also threatened a man at gunpoint and stole their vehicle. When police caught him, they discovered and arrested another man, 20-year-old Ezekiel Mendoza.
