Sheriff's Office: Two teens hurt after driver in Wisconsin falls asleep and crashes

HILLSBORO, Wis. (WFRV) - Authorities in Wisconsin say two people were left with minor injuries after the driver of a vehicle fell asleep and crashed.
According to a release from the Vernon County Sheriff's Office, deputies responded around 5:00 p.m. to a crash on State Highway 82 in the Town of Hillsboro after being made alert of the incident by an automated crash notification and an additional phone call.
Deputies say the single-vehicle crash occurred after 18-year-old Quinn M. Scheder of rural LaFarge allegedly fell asleep while driving and lost control of the vehicle.

The vehicle was then driven off the roadway and flipped end over end before eventually coming to rest in the ditch.
Both Quinn Scheder and his passenger, 16-year-old Abner Scheder, were evaluated at the scene and taken by ambulance to the hospital with only minor injuries.
State Highway 82 was reported closed for about 20 minutes while the Hillsboro Area Fire Department worked to recover the vehicle.
At this time, no other details about this incident are available and an investigation into the crash remains ongoing.
