Jan 06, 2025
GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) - Laundry Love Green Bay is all about supporting those in need within our community.
Whether someone is low-income, experiencing homelessness, unemployed, elderly, or just going through a tough time, they’re here to help by providing quarters and soap at our Laundry Love events.
Bishop Ricken marks 25th anniversary of ordination, opens the Jubilee Year of Hope with Mass in Green Bay
These events take place at a local laundromat, ensuring everyone has access to clean laundry when they need it most.
They believe in the power of community and love for neighbors. By offering these services, they hope to ease the burden on those who may be struggling, allowing their money to go further for other essential needs like gas, food, and housing.
Clean clothes and bedding are a basic necessity for everyone. At Laundry Love Green Bay, they want to make sure individuals, children, and families stay healthy and have access to clean laundry.
Quarters, soap, and dryer sheets are provided for those who need them. Individuals can wash 2 loads, whereas families can wash 5 loads. A family is defined as a parent or parents that have children. Load size is determined by Laundy Love coordinators. Bedding is not included in the load limits but is encouraged to bring.
These events are on a first-come, first-serve basis. No pre-loading machines, no drugs or alcohol are permitted and guests must remain present while doing their laundry.
