Congresswoman Julie Fedorchak sworn into U.S House of Representatives

BISMARCK, ND (KXNET) — North Dakota Congresswoman Julie Fedorchak has been sworn in for her first term in Congress.
According to a press release from House.Gov, she took the oath of office on Friday, January 3, alongside her family.
On December 13, she was also appointed to serve on the Energy and Commerce Committee, where her priorities include supporting fiscal responsibility, balancing the federal budget, cutting taxes and regulations, and promoting policies that highlight energy, agriculture, and natural resources in America.

“I am deeply honored and humbled by the trust the people of North Dakota have placed in me. Representing our great state is the opportunity of a lifetime, and I am committed to bringing North Dakota’s values and priorities to Washington,” Fedorchak states in the release. “From our leadership in energy and agriculture to our independence and common sense, I will work tirelessly to be a voice for solutions to our nation’s greatest problems. This is an incredible moment for our country. We can and must build on our strengths, get our fiscal house in order, and create stability and opportunity for the future.”
