Good Evening Windy bitter cold weather continues now through Thursday. Less wind and not as frigid by Friday. We also continue to track the "potential" for an offshore storm over the weekend on Saturday. We'll have more on that potential weekend storm below. INTERACTIVE RADAR: Live Pinpoint Weather 12 Radar » | | FLIGHT TRACKER THIS EVENING Hour by Hour // A close look at the upcoming conditions » | | BEACH AND BOATING FORECASTS TONIGHT Still frigid/windy tonight and dry. Overnight lows will be in the teens, but wind chills will be in the single digits to around zero. Wind Chills By Midnight Tonight WEDNESDAY FORECAST We'll have sunshine mixed with clouds at times on Wednesday, but temperatures still remaining around 10-12 degrees below average for this time of year. Temperatures start out in the teens in the morning and only get into the mid 20s in the afternoon. Wind chills will be between 5 and 15 through the day on Wednesday. LOOKING AHEAD More of the same for Thursday....cold, windy and dry with a frigid feel. "POTENTIAL" SATURDAY SNOW Looking at the weather map on Friday, we'll likely still be dry with sunshine, but we'll be closely monitoring a storm across the southeast US. Where it goes from there is the big question we're trying to figure out. There are two paths that storm could take. Option 1 is what the American computer model is indicating...that it becomes a coastal storm bringing us some snow. Option 2 is what the European computer model has been consistently showing....a path farther south. Less snow impact is expected with this path. At this point we are leaning towards option 2, which keeps the storm too far offshore to have a major impact here, but still grazing our area with lighter snow. With that said, we still need to watch how this plays out, as we are still 4 days away. Check back for updates this week. Here are the storm positions for Saturday showing how far south (and weaker) the European computer model forecast is compared to the GFS computer model -Meteorologist Tony Petrarca and T.J.
