LINCOLN CO., NC – Family members are desperate to find a missing 26-year-old woman in Lincoln County. The sheriff’s office says Hope Vergara left a house on Don McGinnis Road on Sunday. Family members told deputies Vergara walked away from the home around 5:4o a.m. and that she is an ‘at-risk’ person. The Lincoln County Land Search team, the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office Drone Team and K-9 units along with the County Emergency Management and Fire Services, and Gaston County EMS search more than 1,700 acres for Vergara.
