HEMINGWAY, S.C. (WCBD) - At least one person was injured during a shooting at a private party in the Hemingway community. Officers with the Hemingway Police Department and deputies from the Williamsburg County Sheriff’s Office responded to the JJ Mitcheom Center for reports of several gunshots being fired at the party. At the scene, officers learned one person was shot and was taken to the hospital by a vehicle. No other details were provided; however, Hemingway Police said the investigation is ongoing.
