Humane Fort Wayne opens Wellness Clinic at new location

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) -- The Wellness Clinic with Humane Fort Wayne, formally housed on Maycrest Drive, will move to the new facility on Leesburg Road starting Monday.
Humane Fort Wayne offers their Wellness Clinic which provides affordable care and services for routine exams, vaccines, microchips, nail trims, and basic testing and preventative care.
The new Wellness Clinic will also be expanding its hours from 30 hours a week to 40, offering walk-in services on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
"At Humane Fort Wayne, we continually strive to do more and better for all of our community's pets and the people who love them. Our Wellness Clinic already serves more than 13,000 cats and dogs each year, and this change will help us make quality, affordable veterinary care accessible for even more pets in 2025," Jessica Henry-Johnson, Executive Director said.
Humane Fort Wayne will continue to work their Surgery Clinic offering low-cost spay and neuter services, out of the Maycrest Drive location.
Humane Fort Wayne opened its new facility in August of last year, opening its animal shelter in September.
