A Blizzard Warning has been issued for the entire Kansas City Metro until 3 AM Monday. 8"+ of snow, 40 MPH winds, and near zero visibility are expected Sunday. Travel will be dangerous with near whiteout conditions possible by midday and the afternoon. Overnight, sleet will change over to snow by daybreak. The transition will be later Sunday farther south, so snow totals are naturally lower, but the ice totals & power outage chance is much higher. All wintry precip will end Sunday night around midnight, and the forecast pivots to the arctic cold Monday - Wednesday.
