RICHMOND, R.I. (WLNE) — The Richmond-Carolina Fire District said it extinguished a fire at a two-car garage Saturday.
The department said that the single-alarm fire required four additional tankers of water to extinguish, as well as mutual aid from the Hope Valley Fire Department, Charlestown Fire Department, Ashaway Fire Department, Dunn’s Corner Fire Department, Exeter Fire Department, and West Kingstown Fire Department.
One person was transported to the hospital for evaluation.
The cause of the fire was not disclosed.
