YOKUTS VALLEY, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A veteran was forcibly tied up during a home invasion in Yokuts Valley in April 2024, according to the Fresno County Sheriff's Office. Deputies say that one suspect is in custody, and another is still at large. Fresno County Sheriff's deputies say they responded to a report of a home invasion robbery near High Oaks and Butternut Lanes in Yokuts Valley on April 26. Investigation revealed that the homeowner, a U.S. military veteran, was asleep in his bed when he was woken by two people tying him up. Detectives later identified the suspects as 36-year-old Frank Rodrigues of Yokuts Valley and 46-year-old Jessica Leon of Sanger. Deputies say the pair stole numerous items from the home and left the veteran tied up with no way to call for help. Investigation underway after armed robbery in Tulare County The sheriff's office says Rodrigues was arrested on Dec. 14, 2024, after fleeing to an area near Seattle, Washington. He was arrested under suspicion of home invasion, robbery, and grand theft; his bail is set at $415,000. Deputies add Leon was arrested on Nov. 29, 2024, under suspicion of being an accessory to a crime. She was released from jail the same day she was booked due to her charge being eligible for zero-dollar bail; however, she has since failed to appear in court and now has a warrant out for her arrest.
