IRONDEQUOIT, N.Y. (WROC) – Firefighters with the Irondequoit Fire District found a deceased person inside a house in Irondequoit on Highview Drive near Twin Road early Sunday morning during a fire call. Crews with the St. Paul Boulevard Fire District, Ridge Road Fire District, Point Pleasant Fire District, Irondequoit Police Department and Irondequoit Ambulance responded to the scene just after 5 a.m. The victim was found as firefighters checked for any residents inside amid fire suppression efforts. The identity of the victim was not immediately available. Authorities, including the Monroe County Fire Bureau, Irondequoit Police, and the Monroe County Medical Examiner’s Office, are investigating the incident.
