(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The City of Colorado Springs is inviting the public to provide feedback on its five-year plan to allocate grant funds from the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
The City said the grants from HUD can be used to support affordable housing, homelessness prevention, nonprofit assistance, and neighborhood infrastructure improvements for low- and moderate-income residents.
The community is invited to a hearing on Tuesday, Jan. 7 from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. at the City Administration Building located at 30 South Nevada in Room 102. The community can also join virtually.
A Spanish language hearing will be held on Thursday, Jan. 16 from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Silver Key located at 1655 South Murray Boulevard.
