CHEROKEE COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) - Cherokee County officials have released photos of a tanker that was partially swallowed by a sinkhole and overturned along Blacksburg Highway. Cherokee County Emergency Management shared the following photos with 7NEWS of a tanker hauling sodium hydroxide. Officials said about 50 percent of the vehicle was swallowed by the sinkhole in a parking lot off the highway.
