ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Kim Leonard, the Macedon Town Supervisor, will now chair the Wayne County Board of Supervisors. Leonard is the first woman to be chairperson of the board, beating Walworth Town Supervisor Mike Donalty for the position. Leonard has served as Macedon Town Supervisor since January 2020. For the role of chairperson, Leonard got 113 votes. The simple majority vote to win is 101. She will be replacing Tony Verno, the outgoing chair and former Williamson Town Supervisor.
