Police investigating crash that killed 89yearold man in Springfield

FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. (DC News Now) -- The Fairfax County Police Department (FCPD) is investigating a crash that killed an 89-year-old man in Springfield on Friday evening.
Police said that at about 8 p.m., they responded to a single-vehicle crash on the Franconia Springfield Parkway just before Bonniemill Ln.
MPD: Two suspects charged after attacking person with bottle in Navy Yard
Officers said the driver of a Ford was traveling east on Franconia Springfield Parkway when his vehicle left the road, flipped over, and came to rest on an embankment.
The man died at the scene. He was identified as Keun Hoon Lee, 89, of Alexandria.
FCPD said alcohol was not a factor in the crash.
Police continue to investigate what led to the crash.
