MINOT, ND (KXNET) — One restaurant in the Magic City is helping out organizations that make a difference in the community. The Rocky's Restaurant in Minot has a new initiative called Round Up with Rocky's that looks to help charitable organizations in the community. Every three months, Rocky's will be raising funds and at the end of each quarter, Rocky's will match the amount that was raised. First baby of the New Year Most recently, Rocky's was able to raise close to $9,000 for the Lord's Cupboard Food Pantry. The vice president of the Preferred Restaurant Group, Morgan Martelle, says the initiative is to bring positive change to the community. "Bring a light to the Lord's Cupboard and things like that and put some financial matching behind it by matching it, we can change a lot of things in Minot and make things for the better," said Martelle.
