STATESBORO, Ga. (WSAV) - The Statesboro Police Department (SPD) has arrested two individuals following a home search that uncovered the possession of illegal drugs. On Jan. 1, 2025, SPD’s Impact Team officers arrived at a residence in the 400 block of Catherine Avenue to investigate a drug complaint and attempt to locate a wanted person. Upon arriving, the officers were able to develop probable cause and obtain a search warrant for the premises. The search uncovered quantities of fentanyl, methamphetamine, prescription pills, and marijuana. Otis Yaniel Flores-Tirado, 26, was charged with two counts of Trafficking Controlled Substances, one count of Possession with Intent to Distribute, and one count of Possession with Intent to Distribute. Christian Yandel Flores, 24, was also arrested on an outstanding warrant for Battery. Both were transported to the Bulloch County Jail.
