OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) - Fire crews responded to a fire at a housing complex in northwest Oklahoma City Thursday morning. Officials say crews responded to the complex near NW 30th St. and Shartel Ave. around 4:30 a.m. Upon arrival, firefighters discovered the fire was in the complex's clubhouse. LOCAL NEWS: Ok. County Sheriff seeing positive trend in DUI arrests According to firefighters, the fire was started by a vending machine in the pool room. They quickly began putting out the fire and got it under control. "I got to give a shoutout to those first initial companies," said Major Travis Fryrear with the Oklahoma City Fire Department. "They did a good job of realizing the danger at hand and kept it contained quickly." No injuries have been reported.
