SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - You have a few more days to stop by Bright Nights, and you don't want to miss out. This year's display offers more lights than ever before. The gates just closed to Bright Nights but they'll be open on Thursday. People traveling from all over come to soak in a little holiday spirit, welcoming families into Springfield for 30 years. People are traveling near and far to to take part in the three-mile drive of lights and those who haven't have a few more opportunities to enjoy it. "My parents were going to go and I just wanted to join them because it's just a cool experience," says Joseph Bregute of Southampton. Lyn Famiglietti from South Windsor, CT, told 22News, "We came just to have a fun evening with the family before the holidays we didn't have a chance to come before Christmas." Sunday is the final day of the season to enjoy Bright Nights at Forest Park. For the rest of the week open from 5 to 9 p.m. Tickets must be bought online or at big Y in advance before entering. Whether it be your first or tenth time at Bright Nights, the spirit it brings is one of a kind.
