Local Living: “Wild Lights” at Riverbanks Zoo, Fireflies Holiday Lights, First Sunday at SCSM, Central Carolina Comic Con

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)— In today’s look at Local Living, “Wild Lights” at Riverbanks Zoo continues this week.
You and the family can stroll through the zoo and discover nearly 60 larger-than-life handcrafted lanterns inspired by nature.
The interactive activities are open through January 12.
You still have time to visit Segra Park for Fireflies Holiday Lights.
The event is open now through Saturday, January 4, but it is closed today, on New Year’s Day, January 1.
You can ride the fireflies express to see more than a million lights throughout the park, along with several fun holiday activities.
You can stop by the South Carolina State Museum this weekend.
General admission will be $1 for the first Sunday of the month.
You can explore 4 floors of South Carolina art, cultural history, natural history, and science.
For an additional price, you can also enjoy a planetarium show and, or a 4D theater movie.
Comic book fans can visit the South Carolina State Fairgrounds next weekend for the Central Carolina Comic Con.
There will be panels, vendors, and special guests like Gates McFadden from the Star Trek franchise, and Michael Jai White from Spawn.
It takes place January 11, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and January 12, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
