ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) – A woman in her 50s is expected to recover after she was hit by a car on New Year’s Eve in Rochester, police announced. According to the Rochester Police Department, just before 9 p.m. the woman was crossing Dewey Avenue when a 2021 Toyota making a turn onto Dewey from Emerson Street hit her. RPD announced that the driver was cooperating with officers adding that no tickets were issued.
