ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) – A woman in her 50s is expected to recover after she was hit by a car on New Year’s Eve in Rochester, police announced.
According to the Rochester Police Department, just before 9 p.m. the woman was crossing Dewey Avenue when a 2021 Toyota making a turn onto Dewey from Emerson Street hit her. RPD announced that the driver was cooperating with officers adding that no tickets were issued.

The woman who was hit was taken to the hospital with what were described as minor injuries.
