Road rage incident ends with arrest of Manhattan man who allegedly pointed gun at group of people

MANHATTAN (KSNT) - Police intervened after things got heated between some drivers in Manhattan during an alleged road rage incident last Friday.
The Riley County Police Department (RCPD) issued a report on Monday, Dec. 30 of the events that led up to the arrest of a 60-year-old local man during a supposed road rage encounter. Police were called around 3:40 p.m. on Dec. 27 to the 700 block of Fort Riley Boulevard to find four people involved in the situation.
The 60-year-old allegedly pointed a gun in the direction of three people, leading to his arrest for criminal threat and two counts of aggravated assault. He told police he was threatened, prompting him to point a firearm in the direction of a 46-year-old man, 20-year-old woman and an 18-year-old woman.
