CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP) - The 22News Storm Team has issued a Weather Alert for freezing rain on Saturday morning. A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for Hampden, Hampshire, Franklin, and Berkshire County for potentially icy roads between 4 a.m. and 1 p.m. Saturday. Freezing rain is expected with ice accumulations around a light glaze. How long will chilly temps continue? Some freezing rain will move in Saturday morning and may cause very slippery sidewalks, roads and bridges, making for hazardous travel conditions. Slow down and use caution while traveling.
