Pueblo police responded to a shooting in southern Pueblo just before 2 a.m. and found one man dead and another injured from a single gunshot wound, the agency said in a statement early Thursday evening. The surviving victim was taken to the hospital.
The deceased victim has not been identified, and no arrests have been made.
The death is Pueblo’s 20th homicide of 2024, according to the police statement.
