CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Several Central Virginia Fire and EMS agencies will staff Chesterfield County fire stations on Saturday as Chesterfield Fire and EMS personnel attend a funeral. According to Chesterfield Fire and EMS, eight different departments will staff its fire stations on Saturday, Dec. 28 as Chesterfield Fire and EMS personnel attend the visitation and funeral for Lieutenant Robert Talbott in Danville. Talbott died on Friday, Dec. 20, after “a brief, but valiant fight against cancer," according to officials. He was 55. According to Chesterfield Fire, anyone who calls for assistance on Saturday may have a fire engine or ambulance from a different jurisdiction responding to help, however, there will be no disruption to the service. On Saturday, Fire and EMS apparatus and personnel from the following agencies will be providing Chesterfield Fire and EMS with mutual aid: Henrico County Division of Fire Richmond Fire Department Goochland County Fire and Rescue Petersburg Fire Department Hanover County Fire and EMS Colonial Heights Fire and EMS Dinwiddie Fire and EMS Powhatan County Fire and Rescue
