Photos by Michael Gonzales/NBAE via Getty Images Donations are needed during the holiday season Per a Spurs press release: Spurs Sports & Entertainment (SS&E) is partnering with South Texas Blood & Tissue (STB&T) to collect lifesaving blood donations on Thursday, Dec. 26 and Thursday, Jan. 2. SS&E will host the blood drives at the team’s former practice facility at 1 Spurs Lane from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Blood donors will receive a free Spurs T-shirt, which will be available at all STB&T blood drives in January 2025 as well. South Texas Blood & Tissue is an official partner of the Spurs. Donors in attendance will be given a look into the former Spurs practice facility, home to the Spurs from 2002 until 2023. The Spurs Coyote and Hype Squad will make a special appearance as well. SS&E and South Texas Blood & Tissue Drive Details Thursday, Dec. 26 from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Spurs Coyote and Hype Squad to appear from 10 – 11 a.m. Spurs former practice facility: 1 Spurs Lane, San Antonio TX 78284 Parking for the event will be available in two lots at 1 Spurs Lane, with volunteers directing parking. Limited street parking is also available. Carpooling and early arrival are encouraged. South Texas Blood & Tissue reporting donations typically decline during the holidays. Donations are appreciated.
