Areas of freezing fog drizzle possible tonight

The Latest from Storm Team 5...
We got a bit of a Christmas Miracle today, as the clouds opened up to sunshine all day long for us. Now for some it was a cold start to your holiday, so you only managed highs in the low to mid 20s, but areas that stayed warm overnight reached the upper 20s and low 30s.
For tonight, low clouds will begin to fill in, which could produce areas of freezing fog and freezing drizzle with air temperatures staying below freezing overnight. Watch for slippery spots this evening and out the door tomorrow morning, especially on lesser treated roadways.
For the most part tomorrow should be a fairly dry day, but cant rule out some passing areas of light rain, freezing rain and drizzle. In the areas that see some freezing rain, continue to be on the lookout for slippery spots.
Highs tomorrow will climb into the mid 30s up north, upper 30s to around 40 elsewhere. Later in the evening, overnight and into Friday morning we will have some on and off scattered rain showers move into the area. More areawide fog is expected as well.
Friday mid day we should see a break in the precipitation, high temperatures surge into the upper 30s and low 40s. Its during the later half of the day into Saturday morning where some steadier, widespread rain showers move into the area. Thursday through Saturday rainfall totals will range between a quarter and three quarters of an inch.
Highs Saturday afternoon reach the middle 40s, so any snow that may have held on looks to be going away. Looking like we will remain quiet through New Years as temperature moderate back to average. Have to watch a system passing to our south around the holiday, right now opting to keep us dry.
