SANTA FE, N.M. (KRQE) – A Santa Fe man with an extensive criminal history is in trouble again after police say he tried to run over and kill another man. Police responded to Trade West Rd. and Clark Rd. to a vehicle crash involving a pedestrian a little after 1 a.m. on Monday. 16-year-old charged with making shooting threats in Albuquerque A witness told police, the vehicle ran over a 53-year-old male victim, then tried to hit him again several times. The victim was transported to the hospital and is listed in critical but stable condition. The suspect, identified as 50-year-old Joseph Gonzales, was arrested and is facing several charges including attempted murder. The case is still under investigation and police do not have a motive.
