ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) – The Monroe County Sheriff's Office is investigating a series of car break-ins that occurred overnight Wednesday at Marianne Cope Roman Catholic Church on East Henrietta Road. According to MCSO, deputies responded to the area around 1:00 a.m. and found multiple vehicles with damage. MCSO said while parishioners were inside attending a midnight service, the windows of several vehicles outside were broken and items inside were stolen. This is the second known series of break-ins in the Rochester area within the span of 12 hours. MCSO has not commented on whether or not these break-ins are related. 13 vehicles broken into during St. Joseph’s mass, 1 stolen This is an ongoing investigation, and there have been no arrests made at this time. Anyone with information is asked to call 911.
