Sioux Falls intersection was closed by burning vehicle

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) -- A portion of Sioux Falls roadway was closed down Tuesday afternoon because of a vehicle on fire.
The intersection of 12th Street and Western Avenue near the Paradise Casino was closed because of a vehicle that caught fire after an apparent collision, according to a KELOLAND photographer and witness at the scene.
South Dakotans gearing up for Mega Millions drawing
Sioux Falls Police, fire rescue, South Dakota Highway Patrol and fire responders were on scene trying to put the fire out. A traffic light had also caught fire.
As of 4:38 p.m., the intersection is open for traffic once again.
