MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) -- The Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service (MCFRS) said multiple people were injured after a six-vehicle crash on Saturday afternoon. MCFRS said in a post on X just before 2 p.m. that the crash happened on Interstate 270 between Watkins Mill Road and Middlebrook Road just after exit 12. Person injured after house fire in Fairfax County Crews said at least four people were transported to the hospital. As a result of the crash, all northbound lanes of I-270 were closed just before Exit 13. In an update just after 4 p.m. from Pete Piringer, the spokesperson for MCFRS, all northbound lanes had reopened. Drivers can expect "residual delays" in the area.
