ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Elks Lodge 461 of Albuquerque helped kids in town bring in the holidays Saturday at their Kids Christmas Jingle Jamboree. Every kid who came through the door got a free gift, a free pair of shoes, and a free meal provided by the Elks Lodge Youth Activities Committee.
Other businesses from around the community joined in the giving. Organizers said the majority of donated toys came from two giving trees located across the city.

"So this is our Kids Christmas Jamboree. We are giving out free toys, and a pair of shoes, and we go the shoes through a grant at the Elks Lodge Foundation, and the toys were all donated by lodge members and friends of lodge members," says Kevin Campbell of the lodge.
This event was free of charge and open to all local kids.
