WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — The spirit of holidays continues in Wichita. Two sets of sisters from Maize brought holiday cheer and joy to kids at Via Christi St. Francis with the aim of continuing a meaningful tradition.
The sisters have donated dozens of holiday gifts since 2017 for hospital-bound children, as they felt everyone deserves to experience and enjoy this season. In 2021, one pair of sisters lost their mother, but they still chose to continue their holiday tradition in her memory and honor her through their act of kindness.

"Sarah loved kids and that she can still give back to kids even though she's not here with us. So we have a list of 150 ranging from toys to stuffed animals to blankets to pajama pants, to hair clips, to body lotions, variety of stuff," said Tracy Taton, the mother of the other set of sisters.
They hope this inspires others to give this season and celebrate the true spirit of holidays.
