NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — If you're a Harry Potter fan then get ready, because a show based on the popular books and movies is flying like a magic broomstick into the Jefferson Performing Arts Center.
Actors Brendan Murphy and Scott Hoatson are taking "Potted Potter: The Unauthorized Harry Experience" on the road and they're stopping here.
"Louisiana has that spiritual kind of magic to it, Potter and wizards, just goes together," Hoatson said.

Hoatson plays Harry Potter and Murphy plays all the other characters.
"My Hermione must be seen to be believed," Murphy said.
This two-person show turns seven Harry Potter books into a 70-minute show.
"Not everyone has the time commitment to read all seven books. We turn you into an expert on the world of Harry Potter in 70-minutes," Hoatson said.
"Once the show starts, it is like a runaway train, Hogwarts Express, you might say," Hoatson said.
Potted Potter started off as a street show, across the pond.

"Originally written by two Potter nuts: Daniel Clarkson and Jefferson Turner, and they made sure every beat is in from every single book was kept in," Murphy said.
It won't take sorcery to be-spell fans.
"There's a live game of Quidditch and a fire-breathing dragon," the actors said.
All with a spin of Harry Potter's magic holly wand.
"Potted Potter: The Unauthorized Harry Experience" will be showing at the Jefferson Performing Arts Center from Dec. 26 through Jan. 5. For tickets, click here.
