FALL RIVER, Mass. (WLNE) — An Uxbridge woman who was the subject of a Silver Alert was found safe in Fall River Thursday morning, according to the Fall River Police Department. An elderly woman was observed in an SUV on Father Devalles Boulevard just after midnight, which prompted the officer to run a query on the registration. The registered owner was found to be Maria Scorpio, 73, who hadn’t been seen since December 18 at 10:30 a.m. Scorpio was found to be in a confused state by police, and her family was contacted to advise them that she had been safely located.
