Mother of six slain in Redwood City

(KRON) -- A mother of six was stabbed to death by her jealous husband inside their Redwood City home this December, prosecutors said. Odilia Bohrsicajau, 33, recently told her husband that she no longer wanted to be with him, according to investigation.
The 57-year-old husband, Juan Antonio Garcia, suspected that Bohrsicajau was cheating on him with a co-worker, the San Mateo County District Attorney's Office said.
On the night of December 8, Garcia attempted to "woo" his wife in their bedroom. "The victim rebuffed his attempt and he became enraged and decided to kill her. He retrieved a knife from the kitchen and stabbed her multiple times in the neck, face, and chest, and she bled to death," prosecutors wrote.
"The victim leaves behind six children, all who live in Guatemala with their grandmother," prosecutors wrote.

Garcia allegedly changed out of his bloody clothes, left the knife in the kitchen sink, and fled from the crime scene. He later called police to turn himself in.
The accused killer is scheduled to make his first court appearance on Wednesday to face murder charges. He is being held in custody with no bail.
