ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — A Wheatland-Chili Central School District bus carrying students was involved in a crash on Lake Road in Sweden Wednesday night, deputies announced. According to the Monroe County Sheriff's Office, the crash - which involved the bus and another vehicle, happened just north of Ladue Road. Deputies announced the crash just before 6 p.m. Seven students, a coach and the bus driver were on board at the time of the crash. Minor injuries were reported, and everyone was treated on scene. The only person taken to the hospital was the driver of the other vehicle involved due to what deputies described as slight "disorientation." Boy, 17, accused of fall murder on Seth Green Drive Deputies said alcohol and drugs did not appear to be the reason for the crash. Deputies did not elaborate further as to what happened. The investigation continues. Lake Road was expected to be reopened by 6 p.m.
