Two injured, one arrested after stolen van crashes on U.S. 10 in Manitowoc County

(WFRV) - A 39-year-old woman was arrested after stealing a White Ford Transit Van and disregarding an officer's order for a traffic stop on Wednesday morning.
According to the Manitowoc County Sheriff's Office, deputies were dispatched around 5:14 a.m. to a U.S. Highway 151 address on reports of a home entry and vehicle in a ditch. A White Ford Transit Van was stolen from a nearby location on County Highway S (CTH S) shortly afterward.

A preliminary investigation reportedly indicates that deputies found the suspect vehicle on CTH S just north of U.S. Highway 151. The suspect, identified as a 39-year-old woman from Port Washington disregarded an officer's stop signals, continuing on.
The Ford van crashed into a Toyota Rav4 heading eastbound on U.S. Highway 10. The 25-year-old man driving the Toyota along with a 19-year-old woman, both from Manitowoc County, were taken by an ambulance for their injuries.

The suspect was unharmed, and subsequently arrested and taken to Manitowoc County Jail on these charges:
Knowingly Flee an Officer
Operating a Motor Vehicle Without Owner’s Consent
Recklessly Endangering Safety
Hit and Run Causing Injury
Resisting Arrest
