(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado Springs Airport (COS) is preparing for holiday travel to kickstart later this week and is encouraging travelers to arrive early and follow signage for parking. As holiday travel increases, short and long-term parking lots may reach their capacity. Travelers are encouraged to give themselves enough time to navigate unfamiliar parking areas to ensure a smooth parking experience. If both parking lots fill up, individuals will be directed to follow signs directing them to the overflow lot, which is located west of the terminal and can be accessed by following signage to the short-term lot. Travelers should proceed through the short-term lot, take an immediate right onto Milton E. Proby, and then follow the signs for overflow parking. Starting Friday, Dec. 20 to Jan. 2, 2025, the airport will be offering 50% off daily long-term parking. The rate will be discounted to $4 per day, with no coupon necessary. However, travelers are encouraged to exit through a manned booth to receive the discount.
