BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Josh Allen has led the Bills to another franchise record.
With the quarterback named AFC offensive player of the week for the third time this season, Buffalo players have been recognized eight times through the first 15 weeks of the season, the most in team history.

Allen was previously selected in Weeks 3 and 13, and running back James Cook got the nod in Week 2. Defensive players Greg Rousseau in Week 1, Taron Johnson in Week 10, and Terrel Bernard in Week 11 got the award, and kicker Tyler Bass was AFC special teams player of Week 9.
Bolstering his MVP candidacy with an outstanding performance in Sunday's 48-42 win against the Detroit Lions, Allen became the first player in NFL history with more than 350 passing yards, 60 rushing yards, multiple passing touchdowns and multiple rushing touchdowns in the same game.
Allen's 15th AFC player of the week awards are a Bills record and the most by any NFL player in the seven seasons since he entered the league in 2018.
