The Milwaukee Bucks were 4-9 on Nov. 17 and struggling to find the answers to turn around their season. But the Bucks owned the second half, limiting the Thunder to just 31 points, the fewest for them in a half this season. Giannis Antetokounmpo, who was the tournament MVP, led the way with a triple-double, posting 26 points, 19 rebounds and 10 assists. He also had two blocks and a steal. Damian Lillard chipped in 23 points, while Brook Lopez added 13 points and nine rebounds. Gary Trent Jr. had 13 points off the bench. A huge difference in the game was the 3-point shooting. The Thunder made a season-low five 3-pointers (15.6%), while Milwaukee went 17-for-40 from deep. Six of those makes came from Trent Jr. and AJ Green. Oklahoma City was paced by Shai Gilgeous-Alexander’s 21 points, though it took him 24 attempts to get it. Jalen Williams (18 points) and Isaiah Hartenstein (16 points) were the only other players to hit double figures. Milwaukee will be back in action on Friday in Cleveland.
