Dec 17, 2024
(PUEBLO, Colo.) — The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) has partnered with SEMA Construction to start work on a new I-25 and US 50B interchange as part of the New Pueblo Freeway project. On Monday, Dec. 16, CDOT held a ceremony to break ground on the project.
The new interchange is designed to enhance safety at an important junction for travelers by constructing five new bridges and introducing Pueblo's first Diverging Diamond Interchange. The new interchange will increase efficiency for traffic flow and create a safer route for travelers and should serve the needs of freight drivers, local community members, and visitors for years to come.
