ARLINGTON, Va. (DC News Now) -- Arlington County is expanding its school zone speed camera program, officials announced Tuesday. In a news release, Arlington County said that crews had started to install new speed safety cameras in school zones. Before schools start up again on Jan. 6, a total of eight new cameras will be installed throughout the county. Metro to require all employees to return to office in 2025 The cameras will first only give warnings from Jan. 6 until Feb. 4. Starting Feb. 5, $100 tickets will be issued.
