PORTALES, N.M. (KRQE) – After it was reinstated three years ago, Eastern New Mexico University said it is discontinuing its men's soccer program. Athletic Director Kevin Fite said they have seen limited competitive success and fewer participants. With Head Coach Brandon Misuraca leaving and other team members in the transfer portal, the athletic director said now seems like the time to discontinue the program. Eastern New Mexico University students will not see tuition increase for 25-26 school year The department said those on soccer scholarships can still finish their degrees. They said they will use their resources to add other sports.
