PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — 12 News got a sneak peek inside Track 15, the new food hall coming to downtown Providence, ahead of its opening on Feb. 27.
Track 15 will host seven different food stalls of all different cuisines, showcasing Rhode Island's talent inside the historic Union Station. Dune Brothers Seafood and Mother Pizzeria are among the selected vendors.
"We wanted to bring some activity back here," Marsella Development Corporation President Chris Marsella said.

"We really wanted to make sure that we evoke the era of the 1890s, early 20th century ... which was the history of the building," Marsella said while leading a tour of the space.
Track 15 will also feature a full bar, with everything on tap coming exclusively from local breweries.
The space is 18,000 square-feet, which includes an addition being constructed that will increase the space by 30%.
"Every day that I come here, there's something new going on," Marsella added.

Track 15 was originally supposed to open last spring, but supply chain issues pushed the timeline back a year and the final cost jumped to $25 million.
To Marsella, the project is a labor of love.
"For my family, this has been a passion project," he explained. "My dad's been involved in Union Station since the 1980s."
"We still have a lot that we want to develop, but this has been an exciting project," Marsella continued.
On Thursday, Jan. 16, Track 15 will host a preview event from 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. at Farm Fresh RI with samplers from the Track 15 vendors. Tickets are $125 per person.
A portion of the proceeds will go toward Amos House. You can buy tickets by clicking here.
