BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) -- Hundreds of children lined up outside Valley Baptist Church Monday afternoon for a CHiP's for Kids Toy Drive distribution day. Each child who attended was given a chip that entitled them to one toy in the church's multi-purpose room. The giant room was filled with toys of every kind, stacked high on tables throughout the space. Attorneys argue Tastries case at Fresno appeals court California Highway Patrol Public Information Officer, Jorge Toro, said he was happy to see the joy of the children. "I gotta tell you, so far, it's been a great success...seeing the smiles on all the kids' faces and seeing them being able to grab exactly the gift that they want. It's just awesome," Toro said. The choices ranged from sporting equipment and baby dolls, to Lego and Barbies, and so many other new toys.
