WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) -- Illuminations at Botanica has again made USA Today's 10 Best Botanical Garden Holiday Lights. Illuminations placed 5th this year in the annual reader's choice poll, competing with other botanical gardens nationwide. This is the 6th year in a row that Botanica has been nominated. Botanica competed against other botanical gardens in places like St. Louis and the Chicago suburbs. It wasn't the only Kansas botanical garden to make the list. Actor, author, lawyer, economist Ben Stein coming to Wichita Luminary Walk at Overland Park Arboretum and Botanical Gardens placed 3rd. To view the complete list of winners, click here. Starting in 1990, Illuminations at Botanica has grown over the past 3 decades to include over 2 million lights, light shows synced to music, and even video displays created with Christmas lights.
