Holyoke detectives take man into custody after cocaine vials found

HOLYOKE, Mass. (WWLP) - Detectives apprehended a Holyoke resident on Newton St., finding him attempting to dispose of multiple vials of cocaine.
The Holyoke Police Department said they were doing a routine check of the alley on Newton St. between Cabot and Essex St. when they noticed 51-year-old Vincente Torres allegedly disposing of an item. When they went to take a closer look, they retrieved the bag of cocaine and took him into custody.

Torres was charged with possession of a Class B drug and possession with intent to distribute a Class B drug.
