ROCKINGHAM COUNTY, N.C. (WGHP) — An Eden man is facing multiple charges after being accused of a child sex crime, according to the Rockingham County Sheriff's Office. Deputies worked with the Eden Police Department to charge Creshawn Lee Brown, 28, of Eden, with eight counts of statutory rape of a child, felony kidnapping and two counts of violating the sex offender registry. Creshawn Lee Brown (Rockingham County Sheriff's Office) Brown is also being charged with a probation violation by the North Carolina Department of Adult Corrections. He is being held in the detention center under no bond. Brown has been listed on the North Carolina Sex Offender and Public Protection Registry since June 2021. He was previously convicted of three counts of indecent liberties with a minor.
